This summer, Commandaria Orchestra & Friends Concert Series has great moments and thrills in store for the Friends of beautiful music.

Our upcoming concert features the prestigious Sofia Amadeus String Orchestra. The Orchestra was founded in 1995 and performs under the baton of its Artistic Director maestro Svilen Simoenov since then. The ensemble has performed throughout Bulgaria and at prestigious festivals and concert halls all over Europe, the USA, and China. They have recorded under the labels of NAXOS and BalkanTon, EMI, Legend Recordings, and others.

Svilen Simeonov has established himself as one of Bulgaria’s foremost conductors. He has been awarded the Musician of the Year Prize with Sofia Amadeus Orchestra (1999), the Crystal Lyre Award (2001) with Collegium Musicum-Bankja, and the Golden Lyre Award with Sofia Sinfonietta (2007 and 2012).

A dedicated educator, Maestro Simeonov has taught conducting in Sofia – Bulgaria, Yangstown-Dana School of Music-USA, Seoul–Korea, Hanoi–Vietnam and elsewhere. As a permanent guest conductor, he serves at the Strauss Festival orchestra and ballet since 2007, the Operettenbühne Wien – Heinz Helberg since 2004 and Teatro Lirico d’Europa since 2001.

The program that The Sofia Amadeus Orchestra will perform at The Cyprus Wine Museum includes masterpieces composed for the String Orchestra repertoire and the program includes music by Bach, Purcell, Boccherini, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Piazzolla, Gardel, Anderson, Shostakovich and Marin Goleminov

The concert will take place, outdoors, in The Knight’s Court of The Cyprus Wine Museum. The concert will start at 8 pm, on Friday, June 30th 2023, and it is a great opportunity to bring the young and future concert audience with you.

Οι Ωραιότερες  Μινιατούρες για Έγχορδα

Αυτό το καλοκαίρι, η σειρά συναυλιών Commandaria Orchestra & Friends επιφυλάσσει στους φίλους της όμορφης μουσικής μεγάλες στιγμές και συγκινήσεις.

Η επόμενη συναυλία παρουσιάζει τη SOFIA AMADEUS STRING ORCHESTRA η οποία θα εμφανιστεί για πρώτη φορά στην Κύπρο. Η ορχήστρα ιδρύθηκε το 1995 και από τότε παίζει υπό τη διεύθυνση του Καλλιτεχνικού της Διευθυντή και μαέστρου Svilen Simoenov. Το σύνολο έχει εμφανιστεί σε όλη τη Βουλγαρία και σε φημισμένα φεστιβάλ και αίθουσες συναυλιών της Ευρώπης, των ΗΠΑ και της Κίνας. Έχουν ηχογραφήσει για τις δισκογραφικές εταιρείες NAXOS, BalkanTon, EMI, Legend Recordings, και άλλες.    

Ο Svilen Simeonov έχει καθιερωθεί ως ένας από τους κορυφαίους μαέστρους της Βουλγαρίας. Έχει βραβευτεί με το βραβείο «Mουσικός της Χρονιάς» με την ορχήστρα Sofia Amadeus (1999), το βραβείο Crystal Lyre (2001) με το Colegium Musicum – Bankja και δυο φορές με το βραβείο Golden Lyre με τη Sofia Sinfonietta (2007 και 2012).

Έίναι ένα αφοσιωμένος παιδαγωγός, ο μαέστρος Simeonov διδάσκει διεύθυνση ορχήστρας σε μουσικές ακαδημίες και πανεπιστήμια στη Βουλγαρία, στο Youngstown – Dana των ΗΠΑ, στη Σεούλ, στο Ανόι και αλλού. Ως μόνιμος προσκεκλημένος μαέστρος υπηρετεί την ορχήστρα και το μπαλέτο του Strauss Festival από το 2007, στην Operettenbühne Wien – Heinz Helberg από το 2004 και το Teatro Lirico d’Europa από το 2001.

Το πρόγραμμα που θα παίξει η Sofia Amadeus Orchetra στο Κυπριακό Οινομουσείο περιλαμβάνει αριστουργήματα που έχουν γραφτεί για το πανέμορφο ρεπερτόριο για ορχήστρας εγχόρδων. Θα ακουστούν έργα των Bach, Purcell, Boccherini, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Piazzolla, Gardel, Anderson, Shostakovich και Marin Goleminov.

Η συναυλία θα πραγματοποιηθεί υπαίθρια, στην Αυλή των Ιπποτών του Κυπριακού Οινομουσείου, την Παρασκευή 30 Ιουνίου 2023  και θα ξεκινήσει στις 8 μ.μ.. Είναι μια εξαιρετική ευκαιρία να φέρετε μαζί σας τα παιδιά σας, το νεανικό και μελλοντικό δηλαδή συναυλιακό κοινό της Κύρπου.
